BLU-SWING is a five-piece band formed by a sound creator, a vocalist, and instrumentalists.
In 2008, they released their major debut album “Revision”.
This album ranked 1st in club charts, and 3rd in J-pop charts at major CD stores.
From 2009-2012, they released many live albums, and works as producers not only in Japan but overseas as well.
They are also known for their international appearances at Japan Festival in Asian countries such as Indonesia and Vietnam, as well as being the London Royal Opera House’s concert master Vasko Vassilev’s back up band. In 2013, they took an innovative approach with their third album “TRANSIT”, which featured Bootie Brown (The Pharsyde) and Christian Urich (Tortured Soul).
Their remix album “ARRIVAL” (2014) and best hits album “SKY IS THE LIMIT” (2015) have both hit number one in the iTunes Jazz album charts.
In 2015, they released their long-awaited album of originals “FLASH”.
In 2016, they released their first studio live album in six years , titled“_2016”.
