Contents

There will be around 400 bands performing on an estimated 40 indoor and outdoor stages. The festival is free (no charge) for all stages and performances.

Purpose

1)    Activation of Sumida
The musical festival aims to vitalize the local economy and enhance Sumida-ku. By holding the festival for free, all visitors can enjoy Sumida-ku a musical town, attracting visitors from and outside of Sumida-ku.
2)    Emotional Education for Kids,
Opportunity of emotional education will be offered for children in the future of Sumida-ku by enjoying live performances for free. Offering the opportunity of being exposed to music from around the world.
3)    Develop Local Industries
Promoting local industries, e.g. ordering original T-shirt fabrication from a local company and giving away inexpensive sweets which are typical of the local industries for rally freebies at Kidspark
