First Photo Competition of Sumida Street Jazz Festival

We invite you to the first photo competition for the Sumida Street Jazz Festival. Please enter the competition on Twitter and/or Instagram with your pictures expressing how exciting and wonderful the Festival is. You could also post pictures from the previous Sumida Street Jazz Festivals with no limitation of the number of photos. We are looking forward to your participation.

Prohibited Stages

For your participation, you may take pictures for all stages except main stage, green stage (except for the surrounding of Kinshi park), Triphony hall, Arcakit stage, Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo and Kinbeer stage.

Photograph Subjects

Musicians, volunteer staffs and view of stages or periphery of the stages.

Entry (upload) period

2016 Festival: from Aug 13th, 2016 to the end of Aug 31st, 2016.
2015 Festival and before: now to the end of Aug 12th, 2016.

How to enter

1. Follow the official account of Sumida Street Jazz Festival photo competition.
   * Official account: Twitter @ssjf_photocon / Instagram ssjf_photocon
2. Please read through “Application Regulations and Disclaimer“ below for your participation in the competition and if you agree with the terms, please post your photos with “#ssjfphoto2016”. Do not forget to mention date (year) of the shooting, stage name and musician name.
3. The winners will be contacted by the Executive Committee DM and requested to submit your personal information (name, address and size of T-shirt) and the original photo.

Application Regulations and Disclaimer

• Please make sure to take photos for stages EXCLUDING Main Stage, Green Stage (except for surround of Kinshi park), Triphony Hall (Main Hall, Small Hall, Main Hall Foyer), Arcakit Stage, Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo, Marui Rooftop Kinbeer
• Photos taken of other stages than the specified stages are invalid for application
• Please observe good manners to not disturb the performers, staff, and audiences during shooting
  You may be requested to leave if you do not observe the rules and regulations.
• Please note that organizer shall not assume any responsibility for any trouble at the time of shooting.
• Please acknowledge that nice photos may be used for retweet and/or repost on the official account.
• Any type of camera is acceptable including SLR, compact camera, mirror-less single-lens reflex, smart phone, mobile device but you are recommended to take photos with resolution as high as possible as the winner of the competition will be requested to submit an original data.
• An applicant owns the copyright of the photos submitted, but the applicant shall grant the organizer a free and non-exclusive right to use the photos for print exhibition, advertising, and Internet (including copy, disclosure, and processing) and also shall agree not to exercise the moral rights to the organizer.
  (Your photos shall not be used for any other purpose than stated above.)
• Personal information obtained from a winner shall be used only for the purpose of the photo competition.
• The organizer shall not assume any responsibility in case of infringement of portrait rights by a third-party for any posted photos.
• The organizer shall not assume any responsibility for any disputes between the applicant and subject person(s).
• Photos infringing any copyrights, public order, or privacy of others shall be regarded as invalid.
• The organizer shall not assume any responsibility for any damages caused by your participation in the photo competition.
• The Application Regulations and the disclaimer are subject to change without notice. If the application provisions or disclaimer have been changed, the latest one shall be immediately applied.
