They have been on many successful tours not only in Tokyo but also throughout Japan. Omar Gaindefall
Born in Senegal, Omar is an all-round musician who is not only capable at mastering percussion instruments like the sabar, djembe and talking drum, but is also re-known for his singing and dancing skills. Born in the capital Dakar, he was raised in the Chine area amongst a family of musicians, where his natural talent for playing percussion instruments soon led him to play at religious ceremonies and celebrations. Not only being involved with tours as a djembe soloist with the Senegal National Dance Companies, he also participated in various artists recordings for popular music in the world. He performed at the opening ceremony of the African Cup of Nations 2004 with the group he led. Since 2005, his performing base is Japan and Senegal. There seems no stopping the energy and charm of this group that is attracting fans from all over.
